Haute Couture in Porzellan

For the 260th anniversary of the Nymphenburg porcelain manufacturer, renowned fashion designers were invited to "re-clothe" the Commedia dell'Arte figurines of Anton Bustelli, which were originally produced in the 18th century. They are on display until 31. October 2010 at the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum.
(sadly, the colors don't come out so well in the photos)

The exhibit was supplemented by 18th century period costumes, and contemporary pieces by Vivienne Westwood.
